- When people talk baby talk without a baby (or dog) present, it makes me feel violent. I hate baby talk.

I hate baby talk even when there is a baby nearby.
I'm suspicious of her too.
i'm suspicious of giada because i think she throws up in between takes... there's no way she eats all that food and looks that good. and she sprinkles in italian pronunciations in with her english - mozzarella bothers me the most.
I love it! I chew on the inside of my cheeks too! Are we missing something in our diets?
I've always thought Giada looks like a bobble-head. Maybe that's why. I wouldn't trust a bobble-head either.
#9: Ditto! I finally figured that out about myself a few years ago, and it explained a lot! Such as, why I don't like suspenseful movies, why I skim the end of every book I read first, and probably why I'm obsessed with calendaring. It was a great epiphany.
And #10: my MIL does that, and it makes my very non-violent husband feel very violent. He'll be glad to know he's not the only one.

I have a secret. I've had 4 babies and never used baby talk. And when people use baby talk on my babies, I run.
So you must really hate it when mountain men use baby talk.

I love mountain men. Burly and gruff and total teddy bears on the inside. I toss my pillow in the morning so I can sleep on my stomach.
I can't believe my sister stole my comment! I too hate baby talk altogether. But it's worst when my MIL does it to my FIVE YEAR OLD. I truly echo your thought about feeling violent tendencies.
