I've known him since I was twelve and sometimes I forget...
...that we're in our thirties now
...that we're grown up with a grown-up mortgage and student loans and two kids and a dog
...that we have real jobs and real dishes in the cupboard that belong to both of us
...that we're not playing house
...that I'm not caught up in a seventeen-year-old's daydream.
(You didn't know I could be so mushy, did you?)

a little over the top with the mushy-ness.
p.s. I like the aviators.
I have to remind myself of the same things.
That was so sweet I think I got a cavity.
But in a good way. Because I feel the same way about my sweetheart and think the same things :)
I fell the same way. What we are in our thirties?! and this is our stuff?! and we have kids?!
WHOA!
I love the mushy-mush.
At the risk of sounding like all the others, I feel the same way about my hubby. Isn't it awesome to be living the dream?
Oh my freaking love story Batman!! I love your gushy happy sweet love. Thank goodness for great husbands.
I can't believe you are in your thirties either! It seems just like yesterday, my kids were little and excited for your wedding, and would change the lyrics of the the current song "Breakfast at Tiffany's" to fit their rendition - "And I"d say what about my new Aunt Tiffany?" They would laugh and giggle every time it would play on the radio, and they would belt it out in unison as loud as they could!
Love it!

So well said and... I can't believe I have a dog either.
You guys are great. A true American love story.
What fun you married your childhood sweet heart! I love those stories. Maybe you should write it out for those of us who haven't heard.
I love you and envy you both at the same time.
Great picture! Great couple!
You really do have the best love story EVER.
The best thing about knowing your spouse since you were kids, is that you not only know who they are, you know who they were. There are very few secrets kept between two people who have known one another for so long! I too, am glad that I married my childhood sweetheart! And I still can't believe I'm in my 30's...heading for 40's!
Good to see you , two of my favorite people ,and by the way I still haven't forgiven you for moving across the country but I will keep pretending.
amen to that one. sometimes I look at my kids and I think "Wow, those ones are mine. When did that happen?"
Aww this is not mushy at all! It is tender and sweet! And that is a great picture of you and Ryan! :]
I had no idea you had known each other so long. It makes me think that true love really does exist.
