1. One time I stole ten dollars from my older brother's wallet, walked to the local grocery store and bought a palette of blue and yellow eyeshadow. I told myself that he would have wanted me to have it.
2. As a child, I was obsessed with a fear of being kidnapped. I slept with a crowbar next to my bed and would only sleep with my face toward the door so as not to be snuck up on.
3. One time when I got pulled over for allegedly running a red light, I hurried and spruced my hair, put on a forlorn pout smile and tried to summon all my inner cuteness--before the officer walked to my window--to get out of getting a ticket.
So, what's your guess?

#2 is a lie.
I also think #2 is the lie. I remember one of our favorite things to do was walk to Smith's to buy some kind of beauty potion...so I can totally see you wanting the blue and yellow eye shadow.
I'm torn between 2 and 3.........
I'm going with #3 as the lie.
I'm torn between 2 and 3 as well... But I am going to go with 2 because unless it was a very small crowbar I don't see your parents letting you have a crow bar, right?
But my word verification has the word sin in it so maybe we are all wrong and it is number 1 ;)
I'm going to say number 1.
#3. ALl the way.
how ARE you?
Number 1 is the lie
#3
i believe you just cried to get out of the ticket. that's what i do! ;)
I am going to go with #2
I'm going with #1. I really can't believe that you would steal money, even for eyeshadow (which is a good reason to steal).
I can believe #2 because when I was a kid I was scared that the house would catch fire during the night (I think it was that episode of Little House on the Prairie with the blind school burning down that did it), and I would sleep with two pairs of socks on so that I could run outside in a hurry. Admitting this will be very embarrassing if it turns out that your tale is a lie.
I'm thinking #2
OK, well you still owe me that $10, so #1 is out.
Though I don't know the whole story of #3, I'm certain that would be your first instinct, so clearly it's true.
That leaves #2, which is obviously false, because stealing one of dad's tools and leaving it in your bedroom is far more frightening than any kidnapper.
i'm gonna be the dark horse and go with number ONE.
because i really DO think he would have wanted you to have it.
was it by any chance 'wet-n-wild' brand?
I'm going with the masses and saying it's #2...Are you giving out prizes to the winners???
